He recently retired as a licensed/registered investment adviser from H.W. Abts & Associates, a company he founded and chaired. He is co- founder and chairman of The Estate Plan, the largest national corporation whose mission is to bring the finest living trusts and estate preservation documents within the economic reach of everyone.
A nationally recognized authority on the living trust, Abts has given more than three thousand seminars on estate preservation. He has dedicated his life to educating people about what he feels is one of the most crucial and beneficial concepts to family wealth planning. An advocate for consumers' interests, Abts founded the Abts Institute for Estate Preservation, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising consumer awareness of living trusts.
